What Members Thought
This is an interesting book set in Cowra in the mid 1940s. It includes references to historical events, and describes life in Cowra at that time, contrasting the situation for prisoners of war, and it depended on whether they were Japanese or Italian, to people in the Indigenous community. Life is tough, and the quirks of the community, and different personalities are important to this story. It could be read with a local studies edge.
