What Members Thought
This hugely popular novel was well constructed with an interesting range of characters. It presented pertinent observations about contemporary issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse and law enforcement and was certainly a ‘page turner’. In spite of all this, I am ambivalent about the novel and even question its superstar status.
