Sometimes the timing for reading a books is near perfect, and that was the case with the his books. This is an amazing science fiction work, set in the near future (or at least that is how it seems to me). The public library I borrowed it from labelled it as crime, and that is kind of missing the point. There are crimes, but it is a more comfortable fit with science fiction.

An interesting concept, this could have been a great story if reduced by at least 30%.
Where was the editing? Too many annoying pop culture references (Mary Poppins, Harry Potter and Doctor Who!) a bit too YA for me
