What Members Thought

I especially enjoyed the first part of the novel which dealt with Darling's young life in Zimbabwe. The tone of the book changed in the second part of the book when Darling's life is Americanised - warts and all. The major, recurring theme of the book, illustrated in both Zimbabwe and America, is of 'things falling apart'.
