Does anyone else think that Picoult overdoes the metaphors and similes a bit? The person narrating this story must feel ridiculous since she can barely complete a thought in less than 2 minutes because of all the superfluous language...
I thought the end was a little bit of a cop-out and easy cleanup for the rest of the story, and i didn't like the characters all that much.

I loved this story, especially the use of Dante's "Inferno" and the 9 circles of hell. As always, Picoult is brilliant. The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is because I did find it a little more predictable than most of her other stories.

Very well written, although I find the author explains herself every once in a while when she doesn't need to. Also, some of what happens doesn't seem realistic based on my own experiences.
