What Members Thought
After having watched the HBO series, I reread this book and this time was very into it. I empathized so much with bookish Lenu, and her adolescent pains were very similar to mine as I grew up in Turkey. Italian culture is also very similar to Turkish culture in so many ways, and I feel like I got lost in the world of the book, not wanting to leave it. On to the second book!
