A few friends convinced me to read this one after I disliked ACOTAR, saying it was so much better.
They were right - this second in the series was significantly better than the first. Seeing Feyre gain confidence and strength was rewarding, the world of the Night Court was fascinating, and the romance was much less problematic. Maas did some truly phenomenal world building.
HOWEVER. Maas needs a stronger editor. This book was at least 150 pages longer than it needed to be, with a ton of repetitio ...more
