When I started reading this I had no idea who Miranda Hart was, but I enjoyed her stories of being a tall lady. Then I watched Call the Midwife. There is never really celebrity gossip (fine by me), but there is a ton of stuff that meant nothing to me as a not-British person.

It was a fun book to read. I feel that it teaches me a lot of stuff about being British and British people. It made me curious enough to watch Miranda's sitcom, which is, in my opinion, 1000 times more hilarious than the book.
Nevertheless, I like the book. It was a fun read :)

I love Miranda and really enjoy her sense of humor. Her personal essays were entertaining and funny and I love that she formats them in way that immediately has you relating to her. Her book certainly reads like one of her shows. So happy to have something to read that is easy but interesting.

I listened to this book and just found it utterly enjoyable. Miranda Hart is funny, relaxing, and relatable. Her stories had me laughing out loud, no matter where I was listening (and lead to some funny looks while walking down the street), and her poignant observations about adulthood, the way we all change as we grow, and her frankness about being a 38-year-old single woman were touching. I couldn't have enjoyed this any more!! ...more
