A lot of time went by between starting this book (and literally laughing out loud in my car, listening to the audiobook) and finally finishing the paper version. West is brilliant, funny, brave, and she calls it how she sees it. Some chapters are much heavier than others, while some chapters could work really well as essays to read in an 11th grade English class ( I mean that as a compliment). it is 2019 and i am starting the year right! i'm pretty sure i've had this book for like...2 years now? not the oldest thing on my tbr but still been there a minute! can't fathom why as it was entertaining, insightful, and extremely compelling -- i gulped down the whole thing in a day. if you're interested in feminism, comedy, online harassment, or just good memoirs in general i'd give it a go
