Really quite hilarious-thoroughly enjoyed this one!
While the stories were creative, the writing and word choice were not. I'm a big fan of memoir, and I'm okay with the more recent phenomenon of folks spilling family secrets for public consumption. However, the author isn't a great writer. She relies too much on shock value to those readers not aware that life in rural areas is different. Um...duh. Junie B. Jones all grown up.
Pretty funny series of anecdotes. I "read" this as an audiobook while I was walking to and from the office and while running and I think it added to my enjoyment. If I had just tried to sit and read through it as a book, I think the style would have gotten old quickly. As it was, I laughed out loud more than once.
