An OK book--kind of a "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" for young adults. I got the feeling the author was trying too hard to make the girls have authentic teenage voices. But then again I'm a long way away from being a teenage girl and I have 3 teenage/young adult sons. So what do I know? I loved this book! Ever since I saw the movie, I wanted to read the book, and I finally did. It didn’t disappoint. I loved how the story moved between different characters in their own specific situations but were tied together through their letters and, of course, the magic pants. You should definitely read this!
