this would be a really good supplementary text for a math or engineering class
imo the problem with math as it is taught is that nobody seems to think it should be entertaining
which like. WHY? math has been invented/discovered by people? people are hilarious? it is considerably easier to recall ada lovelace's contributions to computing when her biography is affixed to your mind as one of a mathematical superhero raised to fight against the seductive call of poetry???
