Shonda Rhimes is rich and successful. She has beautiful children. She owns Thursday nights. She will soon own Netflix I'm sure. Therefore, she must be happy and perfect. If anyone can give advice to working women in entertainment (or anywhere) it's the inimitable Shonda. This was poignant, real, and hilarious and I loved every second of listening to her talk about facing and overcoming personal struggles and demons while conquering the world one brilliant tv drama at a time. Highly recommend, particularly for women in "the business."

I liked the sentiment, like her shows, liked her speeches, but didn't like the half sentences and style of this particular book. I applaud how eagerly she sought her own happiness and made it happen. I feel inspired by her but didn't love the writing style. I'll save the rest of my Shonda efforts for TV.
