Excellent book, story and characters will stick in my mind.
First book by Louise Erdrich that I've ever read & this was an introduction to a new setting for me, at the connecting edges of North Dakota/Minnesota/Canada, the Ojibwe reservation. This is a coming-of-age with extra food for thought. Heartbreaking with streaks of bittersweet.
This book is intense, beautiful and sad.
