Loved this book! I only wish there were more for each generation of characters! What a tragic and beautiful way to elucidate the African experience. I also wished for an ex deus machina moment with a reunion of stones. But I loved the fire and water theme and how both sides could maybe finally be at peace. Beautiful story!
Some great moments but couldn’t follow fully due to life events
A wonderful debut novel (although perhaps not so much a novel as a series of vignettes?). Beautiful heart-stopping language.
