I adore Moyes's writing style, characters, all of it. Got in so deep with this story that it made me boo hoo, without making me feel manipulated. I'm hereby willing to read anything of hers--quick reads, lovely character development, fantastic dialogue, satisfying but not outlandishly clean resolutions. Love.

I would give this 3 1/2 stars if I could. I think if I read this on the beach or something I would've enjoyed it more. Moyes is a good writer and I was into the characters right away, but about halfway through I realized it was a formulaic romantic comedy. The characters were suddenly all cliche to me, and I knew how it would end. There's nothing wrong with a romantic comedy's, but I didn't go into it realizing that's what it was so I ended up disappointed.
