Loved the world building; gave me the same feeling as when I read Atwood's dystopian novels - very believable potential (American) futures taken over by corporations. Not sure what is missing at the end, but didn't quite make it a 5 star for me.

This was an interesting dystopian novel that described the decline of American society as a result of end stage capitalism (company towns, buying slave labor, rampant corruption, money is power). While the focus of the narrator was the development of her faith in this setting, I thought that the setting itself was much more interesting than the development of this faith.
