My husband said, "You're reading that again?" Yes, this is the second time I've read this but I've read "Pride and Prejudice" and "Persuasion" multiple times! This is a great story but you can tell this is one of Jane Austen's earlier books. It's not quite as polished as her later ones. As usual, I love Austen's wit and sarcasm. You just don't expect that from a book that's almost 200 years old. Really, my only complaint is that the ending dragged on too long and I had trouble making sense of it

I don't need to read this again.
I would read Pride and Prejudice again as I greatly enjoyed that, but this was a book that I was just trying to get to the end of and didn't feel fully vested in the characters.
Update: sept. 2015 - I am reading this again with only the tiniest fragment of a memory that I read it before. Guess I should have consulted my goodreads account before cracking it open. ...more
