Short stories aren't usually my jam, but I do love some Margaret Atwood. Bonus: she reads some of the stories in the audiobook!

I know I'm in the minority but I love Atwood's tales and shorter stories the best, and would be very happy if that's all she did. These tales all contain very different narratives that revolve around regrets and aging, compounded by a little sci fi, mystery and/or magic, and are extremely hard to put down.
