(4.0) Interesting: a retrospective on a painter's work, which is in turn a retrospective on her own life
I sometimes wonder how autobiographical artists (sorry, Elaine Risley, painter in your case) get. We certainly see it often enough in authors' work. I really appreciate the structure of this book. It was fascinating how she wove together the protagonist's past and present.
