Lovely! Nafisi's writing is a joy, even when it is remembering painful moments of her past. I lent it to a close friend the day I finished, just because I wanted to share it.

I gave this book to page 100. I wanted to like it, but it just wasn't compelling and had too much discussion of literature without tying in the current situation in Iran enough. ...more
