I didn't really know much about Wonder Woman when I started this book, and the history is stranger than fiction

Lots of great research, though I could have done without the emphasis on the lie-detector test. Quite a few sections were repetitious.
This book is so good, all so interesting. Lepore is an inspiration. And also, I got choked up at the end, which I have to think about some more.
If you love Wonder Woman, feminism, weird historical stories, or alternative lifestyles (particularly polyamory), you’ll find this to be an interesting read! I felt like the writing was choppy at points, but I loved learning more about how Wonder Woman came to be, and how she changed through time!
This was such a fascinating, engaging history of much more than just Wonder Woman. I learned so much about women's rights, the birth of Planned Parenthood, comic books and censorship and a variety of other social justice movements. Makes me love Wonder Woman so much more!
