I decided I should read this after seeing it on a list of Most Influential Books Of All Time You've Probably Never Read. I expected to marvel at how far we've come, and to feel grateful for all the progress made by the women who came before me. I definitely felt the gratitude, but I was sighing and highlighting over many pages as I read this book. A really good book. A little repetetive towards the end but still a worthwhile read. A great social commentary that looks at the realities of being a women. I found it empowering and I wish it would be a mandatory read for any guy whoever told me I didn't need a watch because there is a clock on the stove.
