Oh. Just Oh. This book is mindblowing. And effing psycho. And incredibly awesome. Just read it. You'll see what I mean. This is not even close to my genre, but so glad I took the leap. Crazygood.
Just quote after quote of smart, impressive dialogue (be it internal or not). I like that she doesn't feel tied to the words remaining as a single part of speech - let verbs be adjectives, let adverbs be verbs..

By the end of the book, did I like any of the characters? No. Did I like them at the beginning? Yes. Definitely an emotional see-saw as far as the characters are concerned. I found myself switching allegiance from one person to another virtually from chapter to chapter. But this was all extremely well done, and for that reason I consider this an excellent read

I finished this book in 36 hours. It was gripping and so so so creepy. It's a stick it in the freezer kind of book...so I'm reading Flynn's other two books STAT. I'll never be the same after this.

Very past, engaging read. Until the very end. No spoilers, but it really didn't seem... satisfying. Or believable.
