GAH!!! What book is this???
This book is as crazy as the two characters in the story. Up until the very last word in Part 2, I still think this book is so great: a page turner, an out-of-the-box thriller, amazingly twisted characters, gripping plot, definitely a keeper!

Not sure how to feel about this one, especially with the ending. However, I can see why this book is so popular. It is all consuming and I quite enjoyed the ending. However, how am I supposed to feel towards Nick and Amy because what I feel is a lot of nausea.
I freaking loved this book. I know a lot of people disliked it (hated it!) because they thought the characters were horrible, but honestly, that's a big reason I liked it. I have no desire to read about happy-lovely-perfect characters all the time. And I know there's a broad spectrum between perfect and the characters in this book (and that spectrum holds lots of compelling reads), but somehow Gillian Flynn wrote a book about terrible people and kept my interest from start to finish. I don't get it. This was nothing special...just your run-of-the-mill mystery/suspense. In fact, it was quite far-fetched and eye-roll inducing. Yet it's everywhere.

Um, so that was kind of really crazy? I was actually underwhelmed with the first half, but then it got really crazy. Still a little underwhelmed overall but I enjoyed the crazy. As much as you can enjoy something in a WTF-R-U-SRS kind of way.
