I enjoyed listening to this on audiobook throughout. It kept surprising me, and was just such a superb and inventive story. Nothing I know is like it.

So not what I was expecting from hearing people reference/mention it in everyday conversation. The writing wasn't pulling me in--I was "currently-reading" this book for 2 months and not getting anywhere, so I've stopped. Boo. ...more

I was really interested in the narrator, the plot, and the whole subject of hermaphrodites. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
