I am listening to this in the car during my commute every day and I am LOVING it. I often sit in the car once I've reached my destination just to hear the next several paragraphs. Kristoffer Tabori actually makes me glad I'm listening to, and not reading, the book, which is a rare find indeed.

My thoughts seem to be the same as a lot of other people. I loved the first half of the book with the history of the family, and I liked the narrative style. I didn't like the present story or how it fit with the rest book as much, but it wasn't enough to make me dislike the book as a whole.

I have to be honest I don't remember this book that well. I should re-read it. Very nice to see it well received after the virgin suicides.
