I started this book three times and didn't get drawn in. Once I did, I stuck with it. I loved Desdemona, but didn't bond with anyone else. I kept feeling like I needed to love Cali's character, but only did so out of sympathy.

I enjoyed the twist toward the end. Did it make it all worth it - meh. .. ...more
