I was drawn to this book by an NPR review, and agree completely with one of the "blurbs" on the back cover: "Like stumbling into the kitchen at a party and discovering everyone you liked in one room."

If you love reading, and you love female characters in literature, you'll love this look at the lessons you can learn from different characters, and how your feelings on characters can change over time. It's even entertaining when you haven't read the books referenced - in fact, I now need to add a ton of books to my "want-to-read" list!
