What Members Thought
This collection of short stories is a kick in the gut (but in an enjoyable way). I learned about this book from the folks at the Book Riot podcast who described it (roughly) as a book about "all the ways that men can hurt women." I think that's a pretty accurate account of these stories. The themes covered include aging, adultery, rural life, abortion, race, class, family, death, trust, and domestic peace.
