So much social commentary of the times.

Loved it.
Inspired to read this after reading the "diary" of Charlotte Bronte-- but found the two to be really repetitive. This book is a little overwrought as well, which I know is typical of the style and time period. If I'm going to go the Bronte path...I much prefer Jane Eyre.
