Fascinating YA read for young adults and adults alike. At first I was a little put off the by author as narrator, but then it all came together and it really worked. Sherman's character has an amazing voice that brought me through the story of a year in the life of a teenage boy from the "rez" in 2007 - who starts going to school with the whites kids in the next town over. It's often funny or very sad and well told. ...more
