Good book! Comoran Strike is a very interesting character. The ending was a total surprise to me- the murderer was not who I expected. I don't normally read murder/mysteries, but enjoyed it.

And THAT'S how a mystery/suspense book should be written. Incredibly interesting story; complex, fascinating characters. Enough information about the characters to give them depth and make you care about them, but not enough that the plot suffers. I've never read anything by J.K. Rowling, and didn't know what to expect, but I am incredibly impressed and thrilled. I SO hope she continues to write books like these; I will read them all.
