Peg - reading heals
This was fun! I read this quickly over the course of a weekend. I was obsessed and just wanted to keep reading it. It kept me guessing, even though I had the mystery figured out fairly early on. When I figure out a mystery early I usually end up somewhat disappointed with the book. Not so here; I enjoyed the twists and turns and even the circuitous routes it took. I didn't "like" the characters, but I found most of them sympathetic and perceptively drawn. I really enjoyed this.

This book was horrible. The only reason that I gave it one star was that I did get sucked in. I did not like any of the characters (except for maybe Cathy or the therapist) and did not sympathize with any of them. Rachel is just pathetic and uninteresting. None of the women had any redeeming qualities.
