As horrible as the events were for everybody involved with the shooting at Columbine, I have always been conflicted in my emotions towards the parents of the shooters. part angry (why didn't they know? why didn't they do something) and part very empathetic (the only thing worse than losing your child in an incident like that is knowing that it was your kid that inflicted it). So I want to read about this from her perspective, because I expect it to be much more complicated than the sheer grief and anger that one would expect from the families of the victims.
