What a lovely, lovely, lovely book. A heartwarming, intelligent rendering of a conceit we've seen before: the grumpy old man whose heart is unwittingly opened to the the world around him. Backman writes with a sharp wit, respect for his characters, and a charming lack of sentimentality. A Man Called Ove was a joy to read. I'll read this one again.
