Not as intense nor as good as Kindred, but still incredibly thought-provoking and special.
My biggest beef with this book is that there isn’t really a climax, and the ending is very abrupt. The beginning is great, the middle traveling is great, and then the end just kind of happens. I didn’t expect there to be a huge action packed thing, but maybe something more than just “we shall call this place Acorn” and done.
