A story within a story about two lovers who try to be together despite the societal norms keeping them apart. He has no money and no prospects and she is slated to marry the town’s most eligible bachelor because it’s what her family wants for her. I liked the chemistry between Belle & Hemi, I fought for them the whole way even when things looked bleak for them.
