3.5, which is so frustrating because I really wanted to love this book!!
It’s hard to pin down why exactly this did not resonate with me like I wanted it to. It had it’s moments. I liked the backstory about the father. I liked the funny moments, like when Korede finds out that Muhtar woke up and remembers what she said. But Korede was very unlikable! It was so frustrating to see her lament about her sister all through the whole book and then stick by her in the end!!
