I think I found my new favorite book. I enjoyed it more than To Kill a Mockingbird. The book started really slow but finally found its pace towards the end. The interactions between parent and child interlaced with the complexities of social issues and undertones of Jeffersonian philosophy and politics. So many layers i didn't want to stop. I thought the book was being released for the money but the issues fall perfectly into place with today's issues.
