I gave this one 2.5 stars. Honestly, I don't know what to say. There were a few moments that I laughed at something in the plot line but overall I found my mind drifting off and wondering who would play the next Ranger in a Stephanie Plum movie.

To summarize this story... it will be difficult so hold on: Stephanie's car blows up, her and Lula eat junk food, someone calls Lula fat, Steph flip flops between Ranger and Morelli, psychos come after Steph, and her grandmother causes havoc somewhere.

If she hadn't been so amazing before I think I'd be more understanding and bump this to a 3. But she was amazing...and now Stephanie's story is just worn out. I think 18 was much better as I still laughed a bit, but I was really let down about 19. I think the saddest thing is that I'm to the point where I don't care too much anymore about what is going to happen to Stephanie. Can't say much about this series. It is what it is. I am happy to report that I didn't mind reading this one though (and it only takes a few hours). Finally, an installment where Janet did not make Morelli look like a wimp who allows his girlfriend to walk all over him. ...more
