This debut novel was quite a doozie!
Baby Teeth is a very unique story about a 7 year old mute child, Hanna, who is out for blood when it comes to her mother. She hates her mom and adores her dad. She wants him all for herself, so she meticulously plots and executes evil plans against mom, Suzette, in attempts to kill her. Of course she only shows her sweet side to Dad, who never knows whom he should be siding with.

This book was so INSANE. I thought it was really well done. Can’t believe how creepy it was. It’s really hard to talk about this book without revealing spoilers.
Each page revealed a crooked, sinister path reminiscent of a dark fairy tale. Unnerving and impossible to set aside this book for long. This is one of those stories that you are relieved to finish and return to your own (relatively) pure and good reality, and yet at the last page you close the book and know the horror will continue for this family. Waiting for a sequel!
If We Need To Talk About Kevin makes you shiver with delight, this one will be of interest too. It's a terrific debut.
