What Members Thought
THE ENGLISH PATIENT is one of my favorite books so I was looking forward to another 1940s novel. I didn't like it as much as I had hoped. It seems that many people preferred the first half of the novel, but I enjoyed the second part. Ondaatje's language is always beautiful.
