What Members Thought
Although it took me awhile to get invested in the story, in the end, Circe won me over. I was a bit surprised at the ending, but I am not familiar with Greek mythology. I will definitely be reading more! I started with the audiobook, but ending with reading a physical book - I think with the names and all the action I needed the traditional reading experience to get the most out of this book.
I loved this book so much more than I thought I would. Beautifully written, and meticulously researched. Circe comes alive on the page and I never wanted it to end. Best book of my year so far.
I’ve always loved Greek mythology so I figured I’d love this. But it was just alright for me. I kind of struggled to get through it.
It’s like I waited all my life to read this book. Absolutely stunning.
Well written, but a little inappropriate. Had to stop in the middle
