So … nobody in my eight person book club-a very diverse group of women with different tastes, mind you-liked this book. In fact, people very vocally disliked it. In the history of the group, I don't think there's been another book that NOBODY liked. This is a feat. I'm ashamed to say that I made this selection, based on the strength of the writer's reputation and the fact that none of us had read him.
