This is a book about a heartbroken mother who lost her non-verbal autistic son at age 8. Set in Nantucket, she meets another grieving mom who helps her see inspiration in her son’s short life.
I learned a little more about autism from reading this book....a disorder that really scares me since it is becoming so prevalent.... it affects 1 in 59 people; 1 in 37 boys! I’m really glad I read this.
Can’t wait to read the next one by Lisa Genova.
