This was just an outstanding book and I couldn’t put it down while on vacation in Orlando Florida. There are so many themes in the book: race, fatherhood, marriage, friendship, loyalty, doing the right thing. It’s about a newly married ambitious couple; about a year into their marriage the husband is unfairly accused of a crime, (mistaken identity) and goes to prison. A great character study -but Celestial drove me crazy. That being said I feel this is an excellent book club choice- so many great themes to discuss. I love the way the characters are flawed and believable.
This one rocked my world. It's been a minute since a book left my head spinning.
