What Members Thought
After finally getting around to reading Tamora Pierce, I'm glad to say her work is worth the hype. Alanna was definitely geared towards a younger reading level than I expected, but I still liked the characters and the story. Several characters were a little flat, but I'm hoping they will grow more complex as the series continues. Books like this one kind of make me wish I had been more open to reading fantasy when I was young because I think I would have liked it even more.
