Not a typical time travel book - the premise of "How To Stop Time" is that Tom Hazard has a rare medical condition; he doesn't age like the rest of us do. At age 13, Tom stopped aging, and was drawing more than the usual double take - people were growing suspicious. Fearing the worst, Tom and his mother moved from France to a small town in Suffolk, England in 1599, only to be accused of witchcraft. I really enjoy Matt Haig's writing and storytelling. He can bring you into these magical situations and make them feel perfectly reasonable. The Midnight Library hit a little harder then this book, but I still really appreciated spending time with this story. ...more
