What Members Thought

While T. S. Eliot loved the book, and I did not, we can agree on a few things. First, the character of the doctor is easily the most memorable of the book. Most, if not all of his speeches, for they are speeches, not conversations, are quite memorable. The author also has excellent descriptions of the characters and the book is very well written. Unfortunately, I was left with absolutely no idea what the book was about and, unlike Eliot, I am unlikely to read it again.
